An 800 square metre estate where centuries of Transylvanian legend meet a private, modern sanctuary, a short walk from Bran Castle.
The House
Some houses are built. Castelaria was composed. Set on nearly two thousand square metres of private grounds in the heart of Bran, the estate looks out on the same mountains and the same castle that have drawn travellers to Transylvania for generations.
Inside, the story turns quiet and modern. An endless marble pool rests beneath an illuminated ceiling and two chandeliers. A private cinema stretches across a hundred and sixty five inches. A river wraps the garden, a koi pond catches the evening light, and a separate study house waits at the far end for anyone who wants to disappear with a book.
Remodelled in full in 2023 with nothing left ordinary, Castelaria sleeps sixteen across five suites, and asks only that you stay long enough to feel it.
The Signatures
An endless pool for continuous swimming, finished in marble inside and out, under an illuminated Barisol ceiling and two chandeliers.
A true private theatre with 7+1 surround sound and Italian sofas long enough to seat the whole party in comfort.
Dry and steam saunas with a cold plunge and ice bucket, a commercial-grade gym, and a marble jacuzzi for slow evenings.
A temperature-controlled wine cellar in premium oak, a private cigar lounge, and a poker and games room beside it.

The Setting
Castelaria sits in the folds of the Carpathians, with mountain and river views from nearly every room, and the towers of Bran Castle within sight. Full seclusion, yet moments from the town, the slopes and the story.
Make It Yours
Choose when you book, or add them later from your guest dashboard. We arrange everything before you arrive.
A tasting menu or a family dinner, cooked in your kitchen and served at your table.
Your private steam sauna and dry sauna, heated and ready throughout your stay.
A professional therapist comes to the villa. One session covers two guests, 50 minutes each. Add another session for a larger party, or one for each day of your stay. Tell us your preferred days and times in the notes and we'll confirm.
A private on-mountain instructor and guide, with gear and lift arrangements handled for you. Sold by the day; half-days and hourly sessions (two-hour minimum) can be arranged on request. Choose how many days, and tell us the dates, group and levels in the notes so we can schedule it.
